The City of Archives continues to expand its horizons! The exhibition “The Mines in the City of Archives” is now on display at the Lousal Mining Museum, a project that fills us with pride. This exhibition marks a new step in our strategy to share knowledge and memory beyond Barreiro. The collaborative and participatory work developed by the City of Archives comes to life in new territories. A special thanks to the team at the Lousal Ciência Viva Center for their outstanding curatorship, design, and visual narrative, which make this exhibition truly remarkable. Good news: this is not the final stop! We are already in contact with other mining-related spaces in Portugal. The journey of the City of Archives is only just beginning.
