SPA Collective

The SPA Collective consists of a group of four artists — Cláudio Ferreira, Miguel Amaral, Ricardo Guerreiro and José Muchacho — with different artistic backgrounds and approaches.

Since 2014, the Collective has been exploring concepts such as “appropriation”, “simulacrum” and “transgression”.

SPA produces essentially conceptual work materialised through multiple media, such as painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, performance/happening and installation.
